Inspiration grows here

Treehouse Studio

Nature has always inspired artists, musicians, writers, and dreamers. This project creates a space where people can slow down and reconnect with that inspiration. Imagine children creating art while surrounded by trees, families exploring together, artists finding new ideas, or someone simply finding peace and well-being in nature.

What is the purpose of the treehouse?

The PLAC Treehouse Studio will expand the mission of the Pearson Lakes Art Center by creating a one-of-a-kind outdoor space for art education, creativity, and community connection. Designed for all ages and fully ADA accessible, the studio will host both new and existing programs while fostering collaboration with local organizations. Located along the PLAC Sculpture Trail loop, the treehouse will feature a publicly accessible area that visitors can enjoy year-round, as well as a private courtyard and classroom for classes, workshops, and special events.

The project is ongoing, with the next step being a coordinated fundraising effort.  Construction will begin as soon as sufficient funds are raised.  As of spring of 2026, we are hopeful that completion could be as early as fall of 2027.

We are looking to raise a total of $1.25 M for this project.

Projects like this only happen when a community believes in creating something extraordinary together. When you give to this project, you’re investing in creativity, wellness, and public access to art and nature.
