Sign up for a time slot: 10:00am-11:45am or 1pm-2:45pm, 25 people maximum per session, please indicate the size of your group at registration.
Create a magical holiday keepsake as an individual or family in this fun, hands-on clay workshop! Participants will build their own handmade clay gingerbread house with terra-cotta clay from beginning to end using slab rolled clay. The instructor will demonstrate using a cookie cutter to build your 3D house out of slab construction and joining with slip and score. Details of windows and doors will also be added followed by underglaze painting in festive colors! This class offers a chance to work together and build a one-of-a-kind holiday decoration that can be enjoyed for years to come. Size will be approx. 6×6” when complete. No prior clay experience is needed—just bring your creativity and holiday spirit! When registering, indicate the size of your group so we can plan materials and seating. Houses will be available for pick up between December 18-22nd.
