Children
Our professional instructors guide children through a wide range of visual arts classes and workshops, designed to spark creativity and build confidence. Offered after school and during the summer, programs explore a variety of subjects and mediums—from one-day workshops to multi-week courses—giving young artists plenty of opportunities to discover and grow.
ArtSmart Interactive Gallery
The Artsmart Interactive Gallery’s newly renovated space serves as an incubator and engine for art-making and creative exploration within PLAC and the community. With a hands-on learning approach, visitors will experience visual, theatrical, and musical art exhibits directly linked to the PLAC collections.
Rita Leary Library
The Rita Leary Library is located in the lower level of the Pearson Lakes Art Center. It includes books, art periodicals, DVDs and videos about many subjects of the arts. Most items are available to be checked out for a two-week period. Please call or visit the box office for check-out information.
