Participants will learn the foundations of Impressionism oil or acrylic painting and their muse will be the Lakes Area! This class will incorporate art history, understanding basic acrylic or oil techniques, and painting strategies that resemble famous artists Van Gogh, Monet, and Manet. Artists of all skill levels are welcome!
Suggested Supplies to bring: HB drawing or #2 pencil, and eraser. Brushes suitable for oil or acrylic paint. Recommend 2 fine tip brushes, 1 medium tip, a flat brush, and a large round tip brush. 11’x14” canvas, oil, or acrylic paints. For oils, bring linseed oil and Turpenoid cleaner, rags, a paint palette, or a surface for mixing paints. Acrylics, bring a rag and container for water.
