Scott Harvey’s unique style of wine making can be traced to influences of both the “Old World Style” of Europe & “New World Style” of California.
Between the two continents, he was fueled by an insatiable curiosity that they both could deliver. His passion in wine making was ignited when he became a high school foreign-exchange student in Germany. Landing in a winemaking family in the renowned region of the Rhineland Pfalz, Scott was bitten by the “Wine-Bug”.
After college in CA, he returned to Germany to train in enology. Scott applied his European training to his California wine in both the Sierra Foothills and later in Napa Valley, crafting the best wines possible from the soils and climatic conditions of each region.
Scott’s wines reflect his roots; they are approachable, food-friendly and full of luscious fruit. These wines have struck a chord in the world-wide marketplace.
