June 11 & 12 | Landscape with Spray Paint!

A student favorite, we will explore how to use spray paint as a fine art medium in this two-day course by creating a landscape on canvas with unique tips and tricks! Class will start indoors and be completed outdoors in the shade- please apply sunscreen prior to class- students may bring a hat and water bottle.

June 18 & 19 | Basket Weaving

This course will introduce students to the techniques of weaving as instructors guide them through the process of making a small basket. Students will choose a colored reed to add personal touch to the top of the basket.

June 25 & 26 | Clay Lights

Learn how to build your very own slab vase that you design and carve to create a pendant light lampshade. Pieces will be glazed, dry, and fired in the kiln for pick up approximately 2.5  weeks after class date. Students will go home with their very own  functional plug in ceramic pendant light after firing completion.

July 9 & 10 | Felted Illustrations

Learn the process of collaging with felt in this two-day course where the instructor will guide you through the process of making your own illustration come to life with layers of felt. Pieces will be finished with a frame ready to hang!

July 16 & 17 | Beginning Wheel Throwing

Students will familiarize themselves with the pottery wheel and practice making cylinder and bowl forms. Students will apply under glaze in various techniques. Projects will be left to dry, kiln fire, and clear glaze approximately 2.5 week after the class date. Each student will have their own wheel to work on the entirety of the class- Limited seats available!

July 23 & 24 | Drawing Realistic Faces

Learn techniques to draw realistic eyes, nose, mouth and other facial features and where to place them in this two session class. Students will receive their own sketchbook and fine art pencils to work with and bring home at the end of the class.

July 30 & 31 | Scraper Paintings with Metallic

On a 16x20" canvas, create beautiful layers of acrylic color by learning to acrylic pour, float, and use unique tools to create depth. Students will add metallic detailing and bring home a piece that is ready to hang on the wall!
