The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is celebrating its 35th anniversary. This historic civil rights law protects the rights of people with disabilities, signed into law by George Bush in 1990. We invite all abilities to create and be part of this community mural!
This interactive workshop celebrates the creativity and expression of artists with disabilities. Adults (18+) with varying disabilities can join in on a hands-on workshop where participants will create their own piece of the collaborative mural on 12x12 canvas that can be included in an exhibition opening November 2025 at the Pearson Lakes Art Center. Information on exhibit can be found HERE.This inclusive and welcoming space encourages everyone, regardless of ability, to express themselves through art. The workshop fosters connection, creativity, and community, breaking down barriers and highlighting the importance of artistic expression in all its forms.
Register by 9/17.
