Join us to create a lucky handwoven treasure with this two-part intermediate basket weaving workshop. Featuring a distinctive cloverleaf design at the base, this basket is perfect for St. Patrick’s Day or just because! With guidance of instructor Sandie Smith, students will work with round reeds to shape, form, and finish a unique basket that highlights both skill and creativity. Sandie will guide you through the techniques needed to construct the cloverleaf bottom, manage tension, and maintain symmetry as the basket rises. This workshop is ideal for those who have prior weaving experience and are ready to expand their technique with a fun and festive project. Thursday evening will include prepping reeds and discussing dyes then meet back on Saturday, March 7th to work on constructing the basket. All materials included.
