September 6th Film: Saving Brinton
In rural Iowa, a beloved history teacher uncovers the century-old showreels of one of America's first motion picture impresarios and sets out to premiere the films at the world's oldest continuously operating movie theatre.
Iowa actors, producers, directors or locations will be the attraction in the Iowa Films Night series, shown on the first Thursday of each month in the Lauridsen Performing Arts Theatre. Join us for a look through a camera lens at this place we call home. Movies begin at 6:30 pm and last approximately 1-1/2 hours. Cost: A freewill offering is requested. There will be a cash bar available.
