Free program for Teens 9th-12th grade

Time: 5:30 pm to approx. 6:30 pm, come and go

Art Educators Welcome! 
High School Art Society is a free program for Teens 9th-12th grade where we explore different medias of art, art making, have group discussions, visit and speak with guest artists, and create camaraderie among our peers and develop appreciation of and involvement in the arts!

September 13: Outdoor Mural Painting 
Help us create several outdoor murals on the PLAC property that will be on display for the next several years!

October 11: Guest Artists: Artisan Road Trip!
Meet artists of the 2018 Artisans Road Trip and explore their artwork and paths that lead them there!

November 8: Ceramic Cast Figurine Sculptures
Teen will select a variety of small cast figurine sculptures, glaze, and stack or collage into a sculptural artwork that will be fired in the kiln afterward! Ceramic pieces will be complete to take home within a week. 

December 13: Animal Zentangle Triptychs
Create a 3 piece black and white animal portrait using the meditative method of Zentangle design in sharpies on heavy weight paper.
