It will be an incredible night of live blues with Paul Metsa, author and recording artist and special guest, Willie Walker. Paul has appeared with Bruce Spingsteen, Neville Brothers, Los Lobos, Dr. John, Gordon Lightfoot, Blind Boys of Alabama, Willie Nelson, Johnny Winter and Robert Cray. "Metsa is a mountain in Minnesota music" says Bobby Vee. "Paul Metsa is a great artist! I always look forward to playing with him" quips Lyle Lovett. Our own Tom Tourville says he is "One of the most important Midwest music minds and a musical genius". At 6:30 pm Paul will do a book lecture on his book "Blue Guitar Highway".
Willie Walker is a Mempis based soul and R & B singer and one of the true last masters of sweet soul singing from the schools of O.V. Wright & James Carr. He has recorded for such legendary lables as: Chess Records-Chicago, and HI & Goldband Records-Memphis, TN.
