Tapestry of Life:
Photography by Howard Buffett
On loan from the Joslyn Museum of Omaha, NE
Friday, September 10 - Saturday, October 23
Main Gallery Exhibit
Mr. Buffett's interest in photography started almost 20 years ago on his family's farm. From the wild animals on the farm to more exotic animals in Africa, he became increasingly intrigued with photography and began to travel to all parts of the world to capture images of big cats and other beautiful creatures. As he developed a better understanding of how this common thread wove its way through every part of the world, he could no longer go to a country just to photograph wildlife. For the past ten years, Mr. Buffett has photographed people around the globe, and in the process has broadened his view of humanity.
