LEARN TO JUGGLE
Instructor - Chad Branham
Saturday, June 21 from 1-2 p.m.
Ages 8 through adult
Cost: M$8 & NM$10
Equipment: Bring your own bags or balls. (Please no chainsaws, machetes, or bowling balls)
Impress your friends, be they life of the party, or just throw things in the air and catch them. This is great way to improve eye hand coordination. Life is balancing act, so learn to throw it all in the air and catch it.
STAGE PLAY for Grades 1-4
Instructor - Marta Barnard
Dates: Session 1 - 6/16, 6/18, & 6/20, 1–2:15p.m.
Cost: M$30 & NM$36
This creative dramatics class will teach children the beginning basics of acting on stage. Students will play with poetry and create characters through sound and movement. They may perform a scene in a small celebration at the end of the last class. Students will enjoy a call and response type of theatre created especially for students who are too young /or may have difficulty reading.
MAKE A PLAY for Grades 1-4
Instructor – Marta Barnard
Dates: Session 1 - 6/23, 6/25, & 6/27, 1-2:15p.m.
Cost: M$30 & NM$36
Make a play everyday in three workshops. Students will learn how to create characters in fun theatre games. For the brand new actor, or those who have taken the Stage Play class before, all will learn more about being on stage. There will be a final celebration on the last day of class.
TEEN SCENE ACTING CLASS
Ages 11-16
Instructor-Marta Barnard
Dates: Session 1 - 6/30, 7/1, & 7/2, 1-2:15p.m.
Cost: M$30 & NM$36
Learn to create characters and how to “work” a scene. Tap into teen feelings and work sensitively with other actors. Even if you have never stepped on stage, or are an “old pro” come and play. There will be a final scene sharing on the last day of class.
