The Pearson Lakes Art Center's interactive educational gallery entitled "ArtSmart" is a hands-on educational environment designed to let visitors explore recurring themes and basic elements in the artist's creative process.
ArtSmart presents the artist/visitor with a series of exhibit-based opportunities to become the 'artist.' It is intended to expand the visitor's vision by learning to recognize creativity whenever he or she sees it. The gallery is designed for people of all ages, with an emphasis on families and younger school-age visitors. We hope your visit to ArtSmart will bring you greater understanding, insight and appreciation of the Pearson Lakes Art Center's permanent, on-loan and special exhibitions.
