In this exhibit, art and science come together to explore the effects of moving air. This is a unique experience to experiment with creativity, air resistance, symmetry, and gravity. Start by using the art supplies and common materials to build a unique sculpture. Place your sculpture in the tube and watch what happens when you let it go! Will it “float” or will it fly out the top? Then, you can take the sculpture out and modify it. Explore with additional supplies or change your design and then place it back in the tube to see if it will float or fly in a different way. After experimenting, you can leave your sculpture here for others to view/try or take it with you!
